ALEXANDER VALLEY: ZIALENA

Zialena’s roots go back to the early 1900s, when Italian immigrant Giuseppi Mazzoni joined the Italian Swiss Colony and became a grape farmer and winemaker. His great-grandchildren, Mark and Lisa, now carry on the legacy at their 49ha estate. Mazzoni fruit is prime stuff for the family’s own-label Zialena, as well as for other local wineries.
