Superstars of the Cosmos
Two superstar planets, Jupiter and Pluto, meet for the second time this year, marking a time of great changes for everyone in the world, but particularly in America. Jupiter is traditionally known as the planet of blessings, and its uplifting qualities are seen in people who have this planet prominent and well-placed at birth, or in a favorable transit to their birth charts. Jupiter does, though, have a downside, as too many blessings can incline some people toward extravagance, and still others toward a need for greed and power.
This planet is obviously a force to be reckoned with, but when he meets up with another titan of the cosmos, the two together become a source of powerful planetary energy, so it’s best to understand them before they join forces. Jupiter gave us a preview of its combination with Pluto not too long ago, when it formed the first of three conjunctions this year on April 5. Right on the last day of this month the two combine for the second time, giving us further evidence of what might happen when they combine for the last time, on the 12th of November.
That old saying “the third time’s a charm” has something to do with the way a triple transit like this manifests itself, but with planets the third time is often the “big one” as, for good or ill, the buildup of the planetary energies during the first two conjunctions is released full force
