he 65th Amazon Filmfare Awards 2020 scripted a new chapter by hosting the ceremony in Guwahati, Assam this year. To announce and Ravi Desai, Director, Mass and Brand Marketing, Amazon India, lit the ceremonial lamp. Speaking at the press conference, held on February 1, 2020 in Mumbai, Vidya Balan said, “It’s a landmark moment that the Filmfare Awards will be held in a beautiful and unexplored part of the country.” She recalled her wins saying, “Every Indian artiste dreams of winning the Filmfare Award… It happened with me… four years in a row ( (2010), (2011), (2012) and (2013).” Vidya has also won the Best Female Debut (, 2006) and more recently Best Actor (Female) for (2018). She also shared why remains special for her revealing, “Soon after I received my award for and went backstage I was introduced to the man, who’s my husband (producer Siddharth Roy Kapur) today. I never knew we were going to be married in a few years.”
