PHOTOBASHING TECHNIQUES IN CONCEPT ART
When working as a concept artist in film and game productions, I’m often asked to produce a variety of images. The context of the image can vary drastically (and the deadlines!); I might get to work one particular image for several days, but sometimes I may only get a couple of hours.
As a professional artist, you need to be able to adapt quickly based on the project you’re working on. As such, you’ll need to adjust your workflow accordingly. And that’s what I thought we could look at in this workshop. I want to introduce a standard industry practice called photobashing that’s quick and fast to produce, while explaining how you can use these techniques to create an original design ready for production.
