With over 20 million visitors to London every year, the city’s most popular sights can get packed. If you don’t fancy jostling with crowds or squeezing through school groups, there are a few golden rules to follow.
Firstly, avoid school holidays and weekends if you can, as this is when the biggest sights see the densest traffic. Visit museums on a weekday just after opening for an uninterrupted view of the exhibits.
