AROUND ENGLAND

HAIL THE KING

Eric Cantona plays tragic king in Liam Gallagher’s ‘’Once’’ music video as they put football rivalry aside. Eric Cantona is a Manchester United legend, while Gallagher is an ardent Manchester City supporter. Manchester United’s latest signing, Odion Ighalo, had been forced to train away from the club’s other players amid fears he may have the coronavirus. The former Chinese Super League striker has also been omitted from United’s winter training camp in Spain. Ighalo joined United on loan from Shanghai Greenland Shenhua at the end of January.

Former Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has revealed that he still receives phone calls from his old side about potential transfers for the North Londoners. The Gunners have been linked with Cazorla’s Villarreal team-mates Pau Torres and Samuel Chukwueze in recent months.

Dudley resident Josef Smith, 40, was also found to have spat at rival fans during the Premier League clubs’ meeting at Molineux in September. A fine of £1,450 was also handed out to the supporter idiot.

A life-long Norwich City fan left around $130 in his will for a round of drinks for the club’s players.
