    I’m the national director of Asian Family Services. We provide services for Asian people who live in New Zealand and face challenges from mental health issues, addiction, things that can be challenging for a new migrant to another country. We have an Asian helpline that offers eight different languages — English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai and Hindi. Because Auckland has become really diverse over the past 20 years and one in four have an Asian background.
