This is a hugely complex system that would take hundreds of pages to cover in depth so I will try to describe what happens in as few words as possible whilst still hopefully explaining things properly.

We all know we need our lungs to breathe and that if we have an issue with them, breathing and sustaining life is very difficult. Even a small amount of damage to this process can severely affect our health.
