THE PERFECT TRAVEL COMPANION

It’s been years since I’ve been back to Singapore. I have a lot of friends there, remnants of my ten-year Unilever stint, and I miss them terribly. Singapore is a global financial center, with a tropical climate similar to the Philippines and a multi-cultural community with a lot of expatriates. It’s a progressive first world country, with buildings upon buildings. Over the years, I’ve seen how Singapore has progressed and developed into a global powerhouse. The food and bar scene has evolved so much with the emergence of various rooftop bars, global players, and the proliferation of top Asian and Michelin-rated restaurants. Not only that, there are more things to do, especially for families, at Sentosa Island, Universal Studios, and other various activities like the night and lumina safari and zoo. Of course, it is still a shopping destination for luxury brands in Asia.
