The saying goes that all good things take time. This is particularly true for homeowner and veteran architect Allan Lamb, whose property was a labour of love for two years. Allan and his wife, Desley, set out with no stressful deadlines or timeframes and enjoyed the process of making their vision a reality.

Located on a serene and secluded oneacre plot among manna gums in Aireys Inlet, on Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, is the Lambs’ exquisite and understated retirement home. The couple say they were introduced to the area when staying there with friends, and
