Speaking His Mind

hat an exciting few years it has been for Virgil Abloh. Shortly after the Paris shows of both his collections for Off-White and Louis Vuitton, the designer extraordinaire has launched a The comprehensive book compiles his much celebrated works throughout his rise in the high-fashion and design scene–including with Nike, Kanye West and IKEA–in a catalogue style hardcover. Other than presenting thousands of never been seen photos and images, the book also has archives of essays and interviews with influential names in art and design such as photographer Taiye Selasi, author Lou Stoppard, graphic designer Michael Rock, architects Samir Bantal and Rem Koolhaas, and fashion editor Anja Aronowsky Cronberg. Launched as a collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Arts of Chicago and Prestel publishing, it coincides with an exhibition of the same name at said museum that will run from June to September this year.
