Peas and beans with almonds
SERVES 8 PREP AND COOK TIME 25 MINUTES
1½ cups (240g) fresh shelled peas (or frozen)
300g green beans, trimmed
300g sugar snap peas, trimmed
40g butter
⅓ cup (35g) slivered almonds
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 Boil or steam the peas and beans until almost tender. Add the sugar snap peas; cook for a further 30 seconds or until just tender. Drain well.
