WELL it’s been over 10 years since I wrote an article on my .303-25; my how time flies and so have many projectiles in that time. I suppose my endeavors with this particular rifle could have been somewhat questioned by skeptics, but now I feel those doubters may be a little out of their depth.

Let’s first look at the rifle in question, a SMLE Number 1 Mark 3, an original Sportco conversion which is very tidy and which has racked up more game animals then one could imagine possible for a rifle of that vintage.
