Figen Murray, 58, was in bed as she learnt of the horror unfolding at Manchester arena on 22 May 2017. Her son, Martyn Hett, 29, was one of the thousands of fans watching pop star, Ariana Grande, perform live, when a suicide bomber set off a blast, killing 22 and injuring 139 more.
As the concert ended and young fans and waiting parents descended into the lobby, the blast went off.
