The form An armchair with solid wooden A-frame legs, moulded plywood arms and a generous, ergonomically shaped seat and back cushions.

What makes it magazine shortly afterwards and became a sought-after classic of Italian postwar design. Frattini went on to create a number of highly successful designs for Cassina, including the Sesann sofa (featured in a past issue of ), re-editioned by Tacchini. The Lina armchair (also re-editioned by Tacchini) offers a solid, comfortable upholstered armchair but, due to the visual lightness of its A-frame timber legs and slender armrests, never feels stodgy or heavy.
