Cruising the Daisies

We used to ride motorbikes – adventure bikes, exploring the back roads and out-of-the-way places of some of South Africa’s most beautiful and interesting areas. We rode into the Valley of Desolation, the Swartberg Mountains, the foothills of the Drakensberg, the gravel roads of the Garden Route and through the Tankwa and Hantam Karoo.

Then, everything changed. Friends introduced us to e-bikes, warning us that two things would happen. First, the motorbike would be sold, and second, our lives would change in many wonderful ways. Yeah, yeah.

We’ll never sell the adventure bike! A year later it was gone – we just stopped using it. We were having so much fun on our e-bikes.
