Mushroom AWARENESS

I REMEMBER when growing up my parents were so excited when they found a patch of mushrooms in a paddock – we’d be involved in a picking frenzy and home we would go to cook them up. But these days you don’t know what may have been sprayed in paddocks or forests so it’s best to avoid eating them.

Mushrooms are tricky plants – being difficult to identify even to the trained eye and nose,
