Earth Garden

THINGS WE’VE LEARNED

IT’S BEEN 516 days since we found out we needed to move. 507 days since we found our block and decided to build a shed. It took us 334 days to acquire finance, receive all necessary approvals and coordinate trades to commence works. As I write this we are (hopefully) about ten days away from moving in and living in it.

Our block is zoned Urban Rural and our BAL rating is 19. We are well into our forties but have narrowly escaped the usual shackles of adulthood (ie mortgage) . . . until now. The journey has been arduous but we’ve learned a few lessons along the way.

Some things we learned because we had great guidance (thanks). Some things we learned the hard way. Before I get back to the business of gardening, I thought I’d share a few notes.
