Lying back in the hospital bed, I could believe that I was staring at my very own baby moving around on the screen.

It was my 12-week scan and me and my husband Peter, 46, were so excited to meet our little peanut.

We’d been trying to start a family for a little while and I took a pregnancy test whilst on my lunch break working behind the No7 counter in Boots.

I was too excited to wait until I got home, so I did it in the toilets and when the test came back positive, I got straight on the phone to Peter.
