Seasonal warmth imbues the month of July with a sense of optimism and lightness. As the days lengthen and the summer makes its presence known, so too does the roster of outdoor events, making this the perfect time of year for a picnic.

A sense of occasion

Spreading out a woollen picnic rug under the shade of a thick-set tree and setting the scene with artfully mismatched crockery, well-worn and much-loved silver flatware and a sprig of flowers or two lends a whimsical feel to a picnic, whilst touches such as insect-repelling candles bring a practical and charming note.
