Youthful charm

JUNIOR thespians and musical theatre aficionados are in for some inspirational experiences in the coming months, with a selection of incredible theatre offerings featuring child performers. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

(based on Roald Dahl’s much-loved book), School of Rock (inspired by the 2003 comedy movie), Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (the eighth story in the epic Harry Potter series) and Billy Elliot – the musical (10th Anniversary Tour) will come alive in lavish theatre productions across Australia over the coming months. All feature junior cast members.

comes to life at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre from January 5. The story of Charlie Bucket, the five golden tickets, the Oompa-Loompas and the amazing Willy Wonka was first published in 1964 and – Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
