To approach the new addition to the Glenstone museum, you must bring some sensible shoes.
Arriving at the sprawling site, about an hour northwest of Washington, D.C., you pass the arrival hall, clad in grey-stained cedar, before hiking a half-kilometre or so across a rolling landscape.
