How fitting that accessory designer and self-confessed shoe obsessive, Charlotte Simone, chose her Swiss Cottage family home to hold her wedding to childhood sweetheart – property developer Dean Jaraj. (Who we’re told is very supportive with a growing Insta-hubby role.)

“At first I was quite nervous about the day, because I don’t like being the centre of attention,” she tells us, when meet on a rainy London morning. “I knew I wanted to be married in London and it was when I started looking at venues that I realised I feel the most comfortable and happy at home.”

So luckily enough her parents have a large garden and enough space to accommodate 160 wedding guests. Her mum turned into “supermum” and, – complete with the driveway to aisle transformation.
