he storm rolled in with 45-50 knot winds and large waves smashing directly into the breakwater at Slovenia’s Piran Harbour and reaching the stern of , showering our new Hanse 455 with spray. My son Alfie, 11, and I stayed in the cockpit for a real drenching and a break from the July heat, while my wife, Anna, and our one-year-old, Charlie, took shelter down below.
