A DIESEL shunter that began life as a steam locomotive nearly a century ago has undergone a major rebuild from dereliction to showpiece condition.
The unique 0-4-0DH No. RS8 was built by Avonside as 0-4-0ST No. 1913 of 1923 and supplied new to Craig Quarry of the Denbigh Lime & Stone Company in North Wales. The quarry closed
