OUT of action since early September, No. 314203 left Shields depot for the last time on November 25 when it was collected by No. 47727

Edinburgh Castle/Caisteal Dhun Eideann and taken to the now closed Glasgow Works pending disposal.

Still active in late November were Nos. 314202/205/209/210/214/216. All were due to be stopped by December 15.

CLASS 315

HAVING moved to Wolverton for storage earlier in the month, Nos. 315831/842 returned to Ilford on October 24, although neither set remained there for long. No. 315842 was sent for scrap four days later, departing as the 5Q78/10.19 Ilford-Sims, Newport behind No. 37800; then on November 7 No. 315831 became the first set to be moved to Northampton Up Sidings under its own power for warm storage.
