MATERIALS

• 24 fat quarters of assorted print fabrics. You won’t use the entire fat quarter of each fabric, but having this many will ensure variety in your quilt

• 2m (2 1/4yd) solid white fabric

• 55cm ( 5/8yd) pink tone-on-tone print fabric (binding)

• 3.6m (4yd) backing fabric

• Batting at least 175cm (70in) square

• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat

• Sewing machine with 1/4in foot

• General sewing supplies

Finished size: 161cm (63 1/2in) square

Note: Read all the instructions before starting the project. Requirements are based on fabric 107cm (42in) wide. It is recommended that fabrics be 100% cotton, pre-washed and well ironed.

CUTTING

1 Choose eight fat quarters of print fabrics for the Heart blocks. From each of them, cut:

• Two rectangles, 5 x 9 1/2in.
