MOST READERS OF this magazine, and a few others launched and edited by The Bear over the past quarter of a century, would know of the motorcycle tour company World On Wheels. Indeed, many Australian riders regard the founder, Mike Ferris, as a godfather of the commercial motorcycle tour industry. Back in 1996 when The Bear started his brand new enterprise called Road Rider, Ferris was the subject of his very first editorial.
