PLANTING THE SEED

Many of my friends have  children who are, to put it mildly, fussy eaters. So when I heard that Chanel Grantham and Davey du Plessis’s three-year-old son, Noah, would also be featured in TASTE’s shoot with these photogenic vegans, my single, 32-year-old, millennial mind was sceptical.

Several hours later, I’d been made to eat my words, and so much delicious plant-based food, that I found myself questioning my assumptions, along with a number of lifestyle choices.

Chatting to Chanel quickly reveals the entrepreneurial spirit the couple shares: “When I met Davey, he introduced me to a plant-based lifestyle, which he had already been following for 10 years,” she says. “His support made it easier for me to make the shift.”
