Canon EOS 250D

Whereas a few years ago Canon used to offer a single entry-level DSLR in the shape of the EOS 1300D, the range has now been expanded to three models, each of which offers incrementally improved specs and features. The cheapest of the three is the no-frills18MP EOS 4000D (£279 with18-55mm kit lens), with the slightly more advanced 241MP EOS 2000D (£375 with18-55mm kit lens) just above. As Canon's upper entry-level model, the EOS 250D sits above the 2000D and 4000D, but below the mid-range EOS 800D. For the time being the 200D is still quite widely available, priced at around £550 with an18-55mm kit lens. As far as DSLRs from other manufacturers go, the closest rival to the 250D is the Nikon D5600 (£560 with18-55mm kit lens), with the cheaper Nikon D3500 being closer to the Canon 2000D in terms of
