SIZZLING SUMMER CHILLI BAKES

Sadly this year we are without chickens, but that has freed up a spot on the allotment for our first polytunnel, which will look like a tropical jungle with all the crops we never could quite fit in our home greenhouses.

Every year without fail I find a spot in the greenhouse to grow a selection of chillies. While they are great to spice up dinners, I am a baker at heart, so am constantly finding ways to include chillies in my baking. Chillies are so versatile; using them in baking you can really pull out their fruity flavour and, if balanced right, can add a lovely lingering heat. Here are three of my favourite recipes.
