Save the trees

Disposable paper coffee cups made some of the biggest headlines in 2017, and for all the wrong reasons: their incorrect disposal, inability to break down at landfill, and impact on the environment. There has been less conversation, however, about the impact disposable paper cups have on trees.

According to the journal Nature, the global tree count has fallen by 46 per cent since the dawn
