Yoga for refugees

How did the Refugee Yoga Project come to life in Australia? During my time living in London, I worked with the Hackney Yoga Project (now called Ourmala), which was hosting weekly yoga classes for asylum-seeking and refugee women. I felt inspired by the impact the yoga classes were having.
