A 48-year-old woman who has had severe migraines since adolescence came to see me. She had tried every medical treatment offered, with little improvement. She had taken Zomig, Cafergot and Panadeine for years for pain relief and, while these helped her cope on a day-to-day basis, they did little to reduce the frequency or severity of her condition.
