QATAR TOUCHES DOWN IN SYDNEY

Few airlines have arrived in Sydney with as much fanfare as Qatar Airways did on Wednesday 2 March. A delegation of VIPs from Qatar were met by Australian dignitaries and executives, welcoming the Boeing 777-300 at Sydney Airport following its inaugural flight from Doha, now a route serviced daily. The NSW capital is the award-winning carrier’s third Australian gateway, after serving Melbourne since 2009 and Perth since 2012.
