MATERIALS

• Fabrics A, B, C, F, G, H, I, J, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, X, AA, BB, CC and DD

• Template plastic and fine-point permanent-marking pen

• Freezer paper

• Cardboard

• Appliqué pins or glue

• Erasable fabric-marking pen

• Spray starch

• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat

• Sewing machine with 1/4in foot

• General sewing supplies

FLOWERPOT – BLOCK 4A

1 From Fabric X, cut:

• One rectangle, 8 1/2 x 14 1/2in (background).

2 From each of Fabrics L, M and O, cut:

• One rectangle, 1 1/2 x 9 1/2in (pot).

3 Join the rectangles of L, M and O fabrics together on their long edges. Press. Match the 60-degree angle line on a quilter’s ruler with the bottom edge of this strip set, with the edge of the ruler running through the bottom right corner. Trim
