• DMC Stranded Embroidery Cotton in Snow White (B5200), Black (310), Dark Moss Green (580), Moss Green (581), Light Cranberry (604), Light Parrot Green (907), Copper (921), Light Mauve (3689), Very Light Antique Blue (3752), Baby Blue (3755), Ultra Light Baby Blue (3756), Cyclamen Pink (3805), Dark Autumn Gold (3853) and Medium Autumn Gold (3854)

• Cotton tape or long strip/s of fabric – see Step 3

• 15cm (6in) embroidery hoop (working hoop)

• Four 13cm (5in) embroidery hoops (framing hoops)

• Four 15cm (6in) squares of felt (backing)

• Fine-pointed fabric
