PROTECTING AFRICA’S BIG CATS
As a South African and a wildlife photographer who lives for the bush and our animals, it destroys me that wild lions in Africa are under such threat. Listed as ‘vulnerable’ on the International Union for Conservation (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species, lions have undergone a catastrophic decline of 90 per cent in the past 75 years.
