The garden of earthly delights

At one end of the garden older brother Harry is demonstrating a long bamboo stick with a tomato stuck on the end. He explains that he’s strength-testing the chickens’ beaks with this piece of apparatus: the explosion of tomato is proportionate to the strength of the beak.
