Sarah spends half of her working life as a sales advisor in Jessops, and the other half as a horse riding instructor. She’s recently started shooting weddings, and hopes to make photography her full-time occupation one day. With the Brecon Beacons on her doorstep, Sarah loves walking and exploring with her DSLR in tow. The Nikon D3300 is her first ‘proper’ camera, and she’s been using it to improve her skills for the last three years. Sarah was keen to win the Sigma telephoto lens to improve her shots of close-up wildlife and zoomed-in landscapes.

Matt is an army officer, and started taking photography seriously around 10 years ago after being on operations in Afghanistan. He’s a keen skier, cyclist, golfer and carpenter, but photography is his go-to activity. Matt first fell in love with landscape photography, but from there he dipped his toe into portraiture and sports. His job takes him Alpine skiing every year, and the reach that the Sigma lens provides would allow him to get some stunning shots in the mountains – getting too close to skiers descending
