Though her eyesight is not keen, she tries to walk gently in the nearby woods with her dogs, though she often has to apologize to some poor little thing haplessly trodden on the trail. She contemplates nearly everything, which is nearly her favorite thing to do. At least fifteen times a day, she purposefully envisions a world of gentler, more imaginative and far more creative societies filled with Earth’s stewards rather than her exploiters. The rest of the time she's swearing at the world for not being filled with the above desirables. She received a B.A. in Human Communication from Marylhurst College. She has designed social service and personal change programs of some note (to some at least) that hopefully empowered rather than repressed. She has had medium, shorter, and still much shorter pieces published in Op Ed sections in the local paper and in online media publications. Her deep joy was submitting to Short Takes in the local Sunday Oregonian Commentary section where it had to be said, whatever it was, in thirty-five words or less. As you can see, she struggles with this. She gazes at the moon and stars and talks with them as though they were friends of hers, which she knows they are on some very deep level, and wants very badly to go travel amongst them, but is fairly sure that like the Little Prince, she will have to leave her carbon, minerals, and water here when she returns home. But, maybe not.visualizza meno
