Introduction

“Design thought” is not a fixed doctrine but a broad approach to solving problems. There are five important steps in the process of design thought:

Empathize: Try to see the problem from the affected party’s point of view. If the affected party is you, try to see yourself from others’ perspectives.

Define problems: Figure out exactly what it is that’s troubling you — be honest and ask yourself what it is you want.

Ideate: Brainstorm as many solutions as you can — the more, the merrier.
