HISTORY
Came into existence in the year 2001 as BRIC NATIONS. Entry Of South Africa. The group was renamed BRICS with the "S" standing for South Africa. Today these countries taken together would account for around 40 % of World Population & 25 % of Global Land.

EMPLOYMENT
In 2011 45% of businesses increased staff levels (further 41% in 2012). 22% of business leaders in the G7 boosted staff levels (26% expect to do so in 2012). Businesses in the BRIC economies are faced with a shortage of skilled workers.
CHALLENGES
Increased foreign direct investments. Huge investments in infrastructure. Technology up gradations. Increased Employment. Leading Economy.
Natural disasters.
Weak infrastructure.
Corruption. Inflationary Pressure.
CRITICISM
BRIC projections are based on the assumptions that resources are limitless and endlessly available. China is in a league of its own compared to the other BRIC countries. India's relations with its neighbor Pakistan.
Modern companies are using lower height walls to promote interaction. Organizations are expected to provide transportation and meal.
