Make your composition more interesting by adding words like :

Adjectives enjoyable, great, wonderful etc. Adverbs - happily , heartily, quickly etc. Idioms - take a break , catch up, be touched etc. Similies - as happy as a lark as fierce as a tiger as brave as a lion

Pupils can experiment by adding one word or a phrase at a time e.g. I saw an elephant. I saw a big elephant. I saw a big , grey elephant. I saw a big, grey elephant at the zoo. I saw a big , grey elephant at the zoo squirting water.

2. At Sentence Level - word order i.e. the position of nouns/ verbs/ adjectives/ adverbs/ pronouns/conjunctions/ prepositions. - punctuation - tense

3. At text Level - paragraphing i.e. -how sentences are linked within the paragraphs. - whether there is a main idea sentence and supporting sentences. - whether the paragraphs are linked to each other. ( coherence)

Add new word (vocabularies which are not provided )in the essay. Use adjectives My mother bought a new black sweater from Jaya Jusco. Use adverb John does his work neatly. Use simile - My father is as busy as a bee to finish his work in the office. Use proverb Ben knows practices makes prefect so he always do his revision in his lessons. (use suitable proverb to suit the situation) Use idioms My family will visit my grandparents now and then.

PLAN THE ESSAY/ STEPS OF THE ESSAY. PLAN THE SENTENCE TO MAKE A GOOD SENTENCE STRUCTURE. CHECK THE TENSES, SPELLING AND PUNCTUATION. WHEN FINISHED, RECHECK THE WRITING AND MAKE ANY NECCESARY CHANGES/CORRECTIONS. USE THE TIME GIVEN WISELY.
