Psychic phenomena are defined as phenomena lying outside the sphere of physical science or knowledge.

Recent discoveries in quantum physics (the study of the physics of sub-atomic particles) and in cosmology (the branch of astronomy that deals with the universe taken as a whole) shed much light on how mind interacts with the universe. This is becoming more and more accepted due to the constant interactions people have with other dimensions (such as seeing ghosts)

 Channeling can basically be defined as the process of receiving and relaying information from an outside entity while in an altered state of consciousness. Entities that people claim to channel are as varied as the channelers themselves - angels, demons, spirits, aliens, higher dimensional entities, dead relatives and friends, and even living people in some cases Ouija boards, psychic healing, most seances, and automatic writing all utilize Conscious channeling, which is channeling is performed while concious.

Here is a true story of an outer body experience Early Out of Body by Wendy My earliest memory is when I was about two or three years old. I was playing in the front yard of our home when I strayed onto the front footpath and trod on broken glass. I remember feeling the pain, screaming, and my mother picking me up and taking me inside to take the bits of glass out of my feet. I clearly recall her placing me on the kitchen bench, then getting tweezers to start to pick the glass out. Suddenly, but due to a conscious decision, I was on the other side of the room -- watching my mother take the glass out of my feet! I could see for 360 degrees! I watched my mother and my physical body on the other side of the room, and at the same time could see out the backdoor to my left, and into the loungeroom to my right, as well as the wall behind me. When the glass was all out, I made a decision to go back to my body. I believe this was probably my first experience of physical pain, and I simply thought, "I'm out of here..."
