Unemployment for military veterans increased from 11.5% in June 2010 to 13.3% in June 2011- 2,800,000 souls. Reduction of unemployed or homeless veterans- Top 3 Priority U.S. Veterans Administration.
Many are barely surviving through unemployment support, or are homeless, due to multiple factors including lack of job skills, physical and psychological trauma (PTSD) or injury suffered during military service.
