Respect Our world is a diverse world. To communicate and grow we must respect one anothers beliefs, values, attitudes and faiths. Education Good learning creates understanding, overcomes prejudice and opens the gates of dialogue. We are here to teach and to learn, not to convince or convert. Safety A safe environment allows everyone to share with confidence. Help create one around you and watch everyone flourish. Perspective Long journeys start with small steps and eyes lifted to the horizon.
Empathy When we try to see the world through other peoples eyes, we open our own.
Celebration Were all different and that makes us special so lets bring our differences to the party! Trust Through building relationships with people around the world, we learn to trust one another that our beliefs and values will be accepted.

Khalifah (Stewardship) Teaching of Hadiths Live in this world as Indras net though you were going to live forever. Part of the teaching of pratitya samutpada (interdependent arising)
Stewardship God creates the universe, but then instructs mankind to care for it. Genesis 1:26. Then God said,
"Let us make man in our image, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

And more important, it encouraged them to question, to question their own faith, their own basis we found that it was excellent way of developing the personality of the person by encouraging the person to reflect upon what he thinks and why he thinks, what he believes and why he believes, so that is what now excites me more than anything else.
Your students were eloquent, honest and curious... I loved the way they referred to one another as friends and I was really pleased with their reactions towards one another even when showing disagreement. They had obviously really taken in the messages about communicating honestly in a respectful way.
