INTRODUCTION
Children are flowers of heaven Most beautiful and purest creation of God Every day when children wearing different kinds of clothes begin to go to school, we feel a specific kind of joy through their innocence

BUT, there are also other children those who cannot go to school Forced to kill their aspirations, dreams and other wishes Pressed to earn living for themselves and their families These are also part of our society and these are called child labour.

What is child labour?


The International labour organization (IOL) defines child labour as: When a child is working during early age he over works or gives over time to labour he works due to psychologically, socially and materialistic pressure he become ready to labour on a very low pay

ACCORDING TO UNICEF:
It defines Child as anyone below the age of 18, and child labour as some type of work performed by children below age 18.

A survey funded by ILOs IPEC In Pakistan children aged 5-14 are above 40 million 3.8 million children are age group of 514 years are working in country 50% out of these are in age group of 5 to 9 years 2.7million were claimed to be working in the agriculture sector

Make education compulsory Education system must be improved Govt should forgave all debts Govt should pass a law against domestic lobour

Decisions must be acted upon at all levels and strictly Awareness must be raised in parents Deserving children must be helped financially Political economical and social systems are needed to be reshaped It is our social responsibility to take steps against child labour
