ACTIVITY 1: COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT NAMING THE BODY PARTS AND OBJECTS

Farra managed to name the body parts as well as the objects. She doesnt find it hard to name those things. From here we can conclude that, as Jean Piaget mentioned in his theory, kids in the age between 2 to 7 years, are able to identify the objects and state the name of things.

ACTIVITY 2: COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT IDENTIFYING COLOURS

Farra also managed to identify colours where we showed her some pictures with certain colours. So, according to Jean Piagets theory, he mentioned that at this preoperational stage, kids could recognizes and remember some of the features of an object.

ACTIVITY 3: LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT NURSERY RHYMES

Farra has sang a nursery rhyme for us. According to Jean Piaget, whenever we teach a nursery rhyme, there are able to remember it. He added that they don't just remember music easily, they can't get it out of their minds, it's so omnipresent.

ACTIVITY 4: LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT WRITE AND IDENTIFYING THE ALPHABETS AND NUMBERS

Farra could write and also mention the alphabets and the numbers. According to Jean Piaget, childrens language in preoperational stage can makes rapid progress where it shows the capacity to use language like how Farra managed to say out the alphabets and numbers.

ACTIVITY 5: COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT DRAW AND IDENTIFYING THE SHAPES

Farra also managed to draw some of the shapes which we asked her to draw. She also managed to tell us the name of the shapes. According to Jean Piagets theory, he mentioned that kids start being able to grasp symbols and also gradually develops use of language and ability to think in symbolic form.

ACTIVITY 6 : LANGUAGE CLASSIFICATION OF COLOURS

Farra could classifies stars in different colours which we gave her to divide it according to the different colours. From here we can say that, Jean Piagets theory validate that kids can classify objects by a single feature.

CONCLUSION
Based on all the activities we had done on Farra, we concluded that Jean Piagets theory and Howard Gardner theory are very accurate.
