The future of the Indian development, climate, the lives and the livelihoods of 1.2 billion of people depend on the choices we made today. We still have opportunity to stabilize the ecosystem and leave it in a better state for our generations to come. The problem India as a nation facing today is rate at which our population is expanding and the rate at which natural resources are depleting and both are proportional to one another. Its high-time when we gauge the Life-enhancing and Lifesupporting services which are playing vital role in the development which is far from being sustainable in India. Critical evaluation of the current state of both the services (enhancing & supporting) is thus necessary and urgent for us to realize the severity of the situation.
